I have some very mixed feeling on this one and I'm going to try to be brief.
I liked the plot and I thought the pace moved along nicely.
I didn't like how anti-climatic the "Outside the fence" thing was. I expected something a little more...WOAH!
I liked the whole idea of genetic engineering-gone wrong theme. I personally believe that humanity as a whole isn't responsible enough to posses this kind of technology. And there was a redemption theme I like too. :)
I didn't like how Four handled his issues in the beginning.
I HATE TRIS'S DEATH
Need I say more?
But the overall writing and plot were still fantastic.
